What's a group?

Your group name allows anyone to interact with text messages and subscribe to your group using just their mobile phone.  Groups are also called "keywords".

You choose the group name you want. If you register BOBSCOUPONS, anyone can text BOBSCOUPONS to 41411 to join your group.

Need additional groups?

Each plan includes a number of “Standard” groups. You can add more groups if you need them at the discounted monthly rates listed in the pricing table.

Premium keywords (reserved and shorter 3 or 4 char keywords) are more scarce and cost more: $25/kw/mo for short (4-character) keywords and $40/kw/mo for reserved (and 3-character) keywords.

How do you count subscribers?

A subscriber is someone who uses your keyword or is subscribed to your group/keyword in a given billing period. Think of it as the number of unique phone numbers that use your account. If you have one number subscribed to 3 groups, that number will only count once.

What if I exceed the number of subscribers in my plan?

Each plan includes a number of unique subscribers. If you promote your keyword and usage exceeds the number included in your plan, you will be automatically billed at the per-subscriber rate listed.

*How many messages can I send?

You can send up to 30 messages per base subscriber per month (for instance, 3,000 messages to a plan with 100 users included), or approximately a daily broadcast to your entire list. Beyond that, you will be subject to a surcharge of $.02 per message sent.
